Viscomi, Ralph F.

Ralph F. Viscomi, 77, of 27632 Equestrian Dr, Salisbury, MD and formerly of Rome made his transition from this life with his beloved family by his side on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He was born on January 17, 1936 in Rome the son of Frank and Mary Froio Viscomi. He graduated from Rome Free Academy, class of 1955. On May 4, 1957 he married Emanuela Antoinette Conestabile, a blessed union of 55 years. He was employed by Rome Developmental Center NYS in civil service for 35 years. He enjoyed interior decorating and had an extensive collection of unique treasures well displayed throughout his home. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Rome and St. Francis the Sales Church, Salisbury, MD. Ralph is survived by his beloved family, his devoted wife Antoinette, two sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Joyce Viscomi, VA and David and Margaret Viscomi, MD, the joy of his life, a grandchild Danielle Viscomi, step-grandchildren, Laura and her husband Robert Peterson, Howell Bullock and Maddie Bullock, great grandchildren Oliver and William, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Antonio Aiello, Domenico and Serafina Conestabile, Rocco and Jenny Conestabile, several beloved nieces and nephews, dear family friends, the Cypher family and many other life-long friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Carmela Viscomi Mitsler, in-laws Bettina Aiello and John and Romana Conestabile and an aunt and uncle, Theresa Hanba and Tony Froio. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning at 11:30 at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W.
