Rockwood, Wesley E.

Wesley E. Rockwood, 67, of Rome passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at home with his loving wife by his side.He was born on March 24, 1945 in North Tonawanda, NY the son of Edward and Ruth Beach Rockwood. On March 17, 1999 he married Lois M. DeFilippo. He was an over the road truck driver for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races, race cars in general, dirt track racing, farming and rodeos. He also bought and sold horses. Wesley is survived by his wife, Lois, two step-sons and a daughter-in-law; Anthony Langevin of Binghamton and Sean M. and Michelle Langevin of Binghamton, three grandchildren, Jacob Fletcher, Arianna Langevin and Cody Langevin and a sister and brother-in-law, Lucy and Jack Warrant of FL. Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 noon at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11-12 prior to the service. Interment will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery.
