Lytle, Thomas Matthew

Mr. Thomas Matthew Lytle, age 70, of Pittsburg, Missouri formerly of Oswego, passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. He was born August 10, 1942 in Oswego, New York, the son of Thomas Findley Lytle and Jennie Emma (Cronk) Lytle. He married Tammy Sue Willis on June 24, 1993 in Miami, Oklahoma. Thomas was an over the road truck driver, having worked for Swift and Legan Truck Lines for many years. He was retired from the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Bethel Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri. He was an awesome father and grandfather. He was always there if you needed anything, even if it meant pulling all the strings that he could to help you out. He was a fun loving person who always lifted up people’s hearts. He believed in God and was a member of the Bethel Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri. He always wanted to go to Israel and walk where Jesus had walked. He loved to hunt and spend time with family and friends. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Tammy, of 19 years, seven sons, Chris Lytle of Oswego, New York, Billy Lytle of Utica, New York, Tommy Lytle of Oswego, New York, Jeffrey Lytle of Oswego, New York, Josh Willis of Dunmor, Kentucky, Doug Lytle and his wife Michelle of Springfield, Missouri, Zach Ethridge of Springfield, Missouri, two daughters; Jennie Paronish-McNabb and her husband Micah of Lebanon, Missouri, Crystal Lytle of Springfield, Missouri, and five grandchildren, Jasper, Donovan, Racheal, Nichole and Douglas, Jr. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am Friday morning, January 4, 2013 just prior to service time at the Bethel Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, January 4, 2013 at the Bethel Southern Baptist Church in Pittsburg, Missouri with Pastor Billy Rose officiating. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Pittsburg with Military Honors provided. Pallbearers will be Josh Willis, Zach Ethridge, Chris Lytle, Brandon Walters, Tony Walters and Dustin Cayton. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Thomas and Billy Lytle.
