Arlene May Williams Marchione, 82, of Rome and Saratoga Springs, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Wesley Health Center, Saratoga Springs.
She was born on August 1, 1934 in Waterville, the daughter of Richard and Euphemia Bentley Williams. On May 5, 1956 she married Eustachio “Fred” Marchione. She had worked at the Rose Hospital and the Masonic Home, Utica. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, but most of all, being with her cherished grandchildren.
Arlene is survived by her beloved family, a daughter and son-in-law, Ellen and Richard Sherlock of Burnt Hills, three sons and daughters-in-law, Fred and Della Marchione of Laconia, NH, Richard and Nancy Marchione of Troy, and Rosario “Ross” and Kennedy Marchione of Rome; cherished grandchildren, Linsey, Derek, Aaron, Jenna, Erika, Kegan, Connor, Clancy, Mia, Ian, Courtney, and Kylie; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Chloe; a brother and two sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Becky Williams of Indiana, and Diane Williams of Ilion, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Philo “Dee” Williams; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nazarene and John Rahorcsak; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dominick and Loretta Marchione, and Vincent and Anna Marchione.
The family would like to extend our deep gratitude to the staff at 2 Victoria and 4 Springs of the Wesley Health Care Facility in Saratoga Springs, NY for their good and loving care to “Beama”.
Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Church for a Mass of Christian Burial with the Rev. Joseph Sestito as celebrant. Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Church.
