Lois M. Rockwood

Lois M. Rockwood, 60, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2014 in St. Elizabeth Hospital.

She was born on December 19, 1953 in Rome, a daughter of Louis and Rose Anania DeFilippo. On March 7, 1999 she married Wesley E. Rockwood who passed away on February 26, 2013. She was a graduate of RFA and attended Business College. She had worked for the Americu Credit Union and Turning Stone Casino.

Lois is survived by her beloved family, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Anthony Langevin and Sean and Michele Langevin both of Binghamton; three grandchildren, Arianna and Cody Langevin and Jacob Fletcher; a sister, Lydia LaGasse of Lee Center; and a brother Michael J. DeFilippo of Utica. She was predeceased by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 11, with the Rev. Paul F. Angelicchio officiating, at the Bottini Funeral home, 120 W. Embargo St. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service at the funeral home.
