Bello, Theresa A. Lanzi

Theresa Ann Lanzi Bello, 67, of Rome, passed away Monday, May 26, 2014 at the Rome Center for Rehabilitation and healthcare.

She was born on January 9, 1947 in Rome the daughter of Adrian and Antoinette Lanzi. From 1968 to 1985 she was married to Richard Bello of Utica. She was a graduate of RFA. She was a cosmetologist operating her own beauty salon.

When one thinks about Theresa, her “glamorous” appearance always comes to mind! Her hair and makeup were always perfect as well as her winning smile! Theresa had a vibrant personality and a sense of humor that made people want to be around her. She could always make us laugh. She was a sincere friend and a devoted daughter. Theresa’s “hobby” was the telephone! She always kept in touch with her family and many friends. “Tita”, as she was affectionately known, will be missed by all who knew her. May the Lord hold her in the palm of His hand.

Theresa is survived by her beloved family, two sons and a daughter-in-law, Joseph Bello of NC and David and Joy Bello of CA; three cherished grandchildren, Adrian Bello, Anthony Bello and Isabel Bello; a brother and sister-in-law, Adrian and Marie Lanzi of Rome; several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday evening, June 3, at 5:00 at the Bottini Funeral Home, 120 W. Embargo St., where relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be on Wednesday morning at 11:00 at St. John’s Cemetery.
